Xtra Mile Transport also known as XMT are a Doncaster based transport business. Xtra Mile Transport are the title sponsor for XMT Racing, both the company and team are owned by Chris Hicks who is a motorcycle fanatic that has a fierce mentality for proving people wrong. These combined are a recipe for winning.
Xtra Mile Transport is a little like his race team, Chris built his company from the ground up but was able to overcome big obstacles that were thrown at him during the rise to success.
XMT Racing is a team on the up, starting from zero at the start of 2024 and now a fully fledged British championship racing machine with a 3 rider strong line up in SuperSport with myself, Jamie Davis and in Sportbike Zak Shelton. We are all highly driven and hungry for success and believe being part of XMT is where we will thrive.
British Superbikes Championship
The Bennetts British Superbike Championship (BSB) continues to assert itself as the greatest domestic bike series in the world, and a producer of some of the sport's hottest properties.
The Bennetts BSB bikes average more than 180bhp and are capable of reaching 200mph. If you haven't witnessed the atmosphere first hand, the explosive acceleration off the line or the riders rubbing elbows at incredible speeds - then you really should!
Bennetts BSB has a huge following of fans who follow the championship around the UK, and that is a testament to the teams and riders who push themselves and their bikes to the limit, whilst never forgetting that they're racing to entertain the massive crowds at the circuits.
The championship has a great following from across the globe. Just in 2024 it hosted 11 rounds across the UK and Spain with an average of 40,000 spectators/fans each round and over 13 million on television alone, not including social media, YouTube and other platforms.
